It was quite the challenge to pick such a short list of Haunted Attractions for the Must See Indiana Haunts that gave locals heart-pounding fun during the 2016 Halloween Season. Tons of terror was delivered all season long to thrill seekers, whether they resided in Indianapolis, were looking for frightening fun in Fort Wayne, or thrills and chills near Bloomington, the seasonal fun was endless!

With so many scary-good attractions throughout The Hoosier State, it's hard to visit them all in just one Halloween Season. To make things a bit easier for when locals go searching for a Haunted Attraction to check out this year, Haunts.com has put together a list of Must See Haunted Attractions throughout Indiana that received outstanding customer reviews and ratings in the 2016 Halloween Season. Top Pick for the 2016 Halloween Season: The Haunting at Shireman Homestead - Columbus, IN



Rated #1 Top Overall Attraction in 2015 on IndianaHauntedHouses.com, The Haunting at Shireman Homestead brings thrill seekers on a journey through the woods on a haunted trail that takes them past a ghost town and through twisted mazes and graveyards. Then they'll arrive at the Mine Camp and if they're able to make it all the way through, a tractor ride takes them back. Residing on the trail is the Headless Horseman, when will you come face to face with him? Well, it's a surprise!

The Haunting at Shireman Homestead also offers Children's Friendly Hours during the Halloween Season for the little ones to enjoy some seasonal fun with less scares. They also host a Christmas Wagon Ride in December.

Moose Lodge Massacre - Crown Point, IN

Featuring over 6,000 square feet of scares, Moose Lodge Massacre takes place at Crown Point's Moose Lodge 260 on North Indiana Ave. and gives locals the dose of terror they're hungry while awaiting the Halloween Season. The haunt also delivers scares for a good cause, benefiting foundations and organizations. In 2016, the Haunted Attraction benefited the MooseHeart Foundation and its national charities, including Big Brothers-Big Sisters, Special Olympics, St. Jude Charities and the Salvation Army, among many others.

Edge of Insanity - Kokomo, IN
Located on the outskirts of small town Indiana, Edge of Insanity sits on what used to be quiet farmland where a privately owned and operated asylum housed the mentally ill. Evil lurks inside this 30,000 square foot factory and with its horrifying scenes, you never know what or who may be awaiting you. Fright Manor Haunted House - Indianapolis, IN
Starting off with a Haunted Gym in 1982, those at Fright Manor Haunted House sure know how to deliver scares to Indianapolis. Nightmare on Edgewood - Indianapolis, IN
One of the longest running haunts in Indiana, Nightmare on Edgewood is a major dose of frightening fun, throughout four Haunted Attractions.
