Welcome to the ONLY haunted house in Northern Arizona. If you love Halloween and the opportunity to be scared, this is the place for you. Fright Night Haunted House at the Verde Canyon Railroad Train Depot, in Clarkdale, Arizona.
“Keep calm,” they say. “They only come after the ones that scream,” they say. On abandoned tracks below the Verde Canyon Railroad depot, long-forgotten by the living are three, ghoulishly- furnished rail cars open to explore…for those brave enough to enter! Bloodthirsty creatures, creepy clowns, gory crime scenes and a corpse bride are but a few of the thrills and jump scares in this fresh spin on the classic Halloween haunted house.
A far-off phantom train horn in the darkness, serenaded by echoing howls from unseen beasts. A scream of terror mixed with teenage laughter. A figure lurking in the corner, ready to come to life. For many, being scared is the ultimate thrill ride, and what better way to kick off the Halloween season than a timid stroll through Fright Night Haunted House?
You might catch a glimpse of the forgotten phantoms, Psycho Simon or Mad Matt lurking along the edges of the railyard. The railroad’s eerie history, built on the spirits deep inside Cleopatra Hill, have led to sightings of “apparitions” over the ages, perhaps the ghosts of the men who died during the many years of copper mining in the area. With no family or friends to retrieve their bodies it’s rumored these workers were buried right where they died, within the mine tunnels. Their spirits linger, and during the Halloween season something stirs them from their slumber to haunt anew.

The only Haunted House in Northern Arizona, Fright Night is a scream for all ages. Fright Nights is just 20 minutes outside Sedona, 1.5 hours north of Phoenix and eerily positioned just below the ghost town of Jerome.

Some locations may have last minute updates due to changing circumstances. Please visit the attraction's website and/or social media before going to double-check that they are open.
